Scholarship Values/Inclusions:
The York University scholarship is for full-time undergraduates and can be renewable for three years.
Also, the program has some inclusions attached to the scholarship process which are as follows;
President’s International Scholarship of Excellence: $180,000 ($45,000 x 4 years Tentanda Via Award: $120,000 ($30,000 x 4 years) Global Leader of Tomorrow Award: $80,000 ($20,000 x 4 years).
Eligibility
To be scaled eligible for this scholarship you must have/be qualified in the following.
- Must have applied to an undergraduate degree program at York that begins in the Fall of 2025
- Must have applied to York directly from high school no more than two years after graduation, and have no previous university or college studies (not applicable to Tentanda Via Award)
- Must have an excellent academic record with a minimum “A” average or equivalent
- Must have demonstrated leadership through community service or excellence in the arts, sports, or other areas of individual achievement
- Must upload one letter of recommendation or other supporting documents as applicable
- Must ensure all required documents are shown as “Received” in the York application (MyFile), by 15 February 2025 at Eastern Time
- Must complete and submit the online International Student Scholarship
Application Instructions:
Eligibility for this scholarship is quite important, and you must submit your application directly to the international student scholarship and you should do so on their online platform.
A code York reference number is required in this process and you will get this message within five working days after application.
All applications are to be tendered on the 15th of January 2023 and the deadline is on the 1st of February 2023.
